ABOUT
My name is Shelly Edwards, and I'm a Professional Vocalist and Voice Teacher. With a Bachelor's degree in Music, specializing in Vocal Performance, and a Master of the Arts in Opera Performance, I have acquired a strong educational background in the field.
Singing and teaching Voice brings me constant Joy, and it is my mission to help people find and maintain joy with their voice. As a committed teacher, I strive to share healthy technique in a relatable way that gives my students confidence in their abilities to become successful singers.
I have had the honor of performing with prestigious organizations such as LA Opera, Los Angeles Master Chorale, and Opera Pacific, among others. Recent engagements include the West Coast Premiere of Omar an American Opera co-composed by Rhiannon Giddens and Michael Abels, Session Singing for Creed III, and Hiawatha’s Wedding Feast performed at Carnegie Hall.
I've also developed a 12-week program geared to help elevate and empower singers. Through a comprehensive and personalized approach, my program helps students of all levels improve their technique, strengthen their voice, and build confidence as performers. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced singer, my program is tailored to meet your unique needs and goals.
Currently, I offer Private Vocal Lessons both in-person and virtually. I am passionate about sharing my expertise and love for music with others, and I am dedicated to helping them develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed as performers both on and off the stage.

My students have worked with Disney, performed in a major Broadway Musical, successfully recorded original music, and won auditions. My students are confident and successful singers!

- Day 1: Let's learn the basics of singing!

- Day 5: We'll fine-tune our singing and work together as a team.
- Day 6: It's the final rehearsal before the big show!
